Glam and Glide is a nonprofit organization founded by high school students with a mission to support both the environment and the elderly communities. The idea began when founder Isabella Frederick noticed her mom’s tennis team discarding thousands of used tennis balls every month. With a passion for helping the elderly and Inspiration to make a difference, Isabella teamed up with her friends to give these balls a second life. By recycling and repurposing tennis balls, Glam and Glide not only help the environment but also bring joy, style, safety, and stability to elderly individuals who use walkers, canes, and chairs. Each tennis ball is transformed into a colorful work of art, painted in vibrant colors to bring a smile to the faces of the seniors who use them.
This unique initiative blends environmental responsibility with compassion and safety, proving that small actions can create a big impact.
